The second new route to be announced by the airline in as many months; the new service will complement the product currently offered to the market by providing travellers with an early morning outbound departure from Sydney arriving into Orange ahead of the business day, further complemented by an early evening inbound service.
Brindabella Airlines sees a substantial growth opportunity between Sydney and Orange as the route has advanced to approximately 65,000 passengers per year, which illustrates the momentum of growth in the region. “Such growth warrants the introduction of an airline with experience in the NSW Central West region which will help the community benefit from increased competition”; stakeholders who approached the airline to commence the service have said.
“We have specifically programmed the schedule to cater for the needs of the day return traveller” Brindabella Airlines Chief Executive Officer Ian Vanderbeek said. Mr Vanderbeek went on to say, “Designed to meet with connecting interstate and international air services from Sydney, and as a Qantas Frequent Flyer Program affiliate, our schedule and affiliation will improve service delivery to those passengers connecting to an onward Qantas domestic service and those wanting to make the most of their business day”.
Brindabella Airlines new service will bring to the Sydney to Orange route up to 32 extra frequencies and up to 960 seats per, in addition to delivering the wide range of benefits available to members of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program.
On Tuesday 18th December 2012, Brindabella Airlines Chief Commercial Officer Fabrice Binet and Commercial Manager James Blake will visit Orange to showcase the airlines’ 30 seat Jetstream 41 aircraft; also to allow Orange based stakeholders to meet the airlines’ commercial management, friendly flight and cabin crew.
