This week flydubai operated its first ever services between Dubai and Khartoum International Airport, as it welcomes its eighth new destination in six months.
The service operated by Dubai’s first low cost carrier landed in the Sudanese capital on Sunday at 9:50pm, where the carrier’s CEO was met by a welcoming delegation.
“We feel flydubai can play an important role in bringing visitors and potential investors to Khartoum, as well as help to ensure the undoubted opportunities that are available in Sudan are accessible to a wider range of people,” said Ghaith Al Ghaith, flydubai CEO.
“Sudan has enjoyed increased exposure in recent years because of its important involvement in the global oil industry. In addition it has growing glass, textile and printing industries which are rapidly developing and enjoying new levels of investment.”
Operated with a Boeing 737-800, flydubai operates FX631 DXB–KRT on a daily basis.
