TRYP Fortitude Valley offers refuge to Gold Coast

Brisbane’s only street art hotel is offering refuge to Gold Coast workers who usually make the commute up the M1 so they can avoid Commonwealth Games traffic.

Nestled amidst the city’s vibrant cultural precinct and close to iconic bars, restaurants, galleries and other attractions, TRYP Fortitude Valley Hotel, Brisbane is one of the coolest places to crash in the city.

And with Gold Coasters being told to avoid the M1 at all costs during the Games, the hotel is preparing for an influx of guests who would normally make the trek each day.

“We know the M1 is going to be a nightmare, so we are looking forward to welcoming Gold Coasters to work, stay and play with us,” said Kim Knowles, Hotel Manager at TRYP Fortitude Valley.

“Instead of sitting in traffic, guests can kick back and watch movies in a comfy pad, hit the local bars and restaurants in the Valley, and be up and ready for work each morning minus the commute. It’s the perfect time for a mini-break in the city.”

TRYP Fortitude Valley offers a range of room types, including king rooms with a choice of balcony spa, internal spa bath or courtyard, queen and twin rooms.

As well as stylish and well-appointed accommodation, the hotel boasts impeccable service and a host of excellent facilities including an onsite gym, meeting room, UP on Constance rooftop bar and delicious burger restaurant, Chur.

Prices during the Commonwealth Games start at just $129 including complimentary Wi-Fi and movies.
