Book Bali with peace of mind at Club Med
The premium all-inclusive resort provider, Club Med, is reminding travel agents they can book clients to experience the beauty of Bali with peace of mind thanks to their updated comprehensive travel insurance policy. An all-inclusive stay will be provided FREE OF CHARGE to guests visiting Club Med Bali in the unforeseen event that flights are delayed due to Mount Agung ash cloud disturbances, a policy which has been in effect from early 2018 until 30th July, 2019.
“Although the airport reopened after less than 24 hours, we know there is uncertainty around the situation in Bali. Club Med is committed to delivering an amazing holiday with total peace of mind to current and future guests in the beautiful and much-loved island of Bali.” says Marine Blanchetier, Marketing and Call Centre Sales Manager for Club Med Pacific.
“Our resort located in Nusa Dua, over 75km away from Mount Agung, is in full swing with guests from around the world enjoying unforgettable holidays.”
In addition to the complimentary stay extension, Club Med’s commercial policy provides your client with the flexibility to look at alternative destinations or future travel dates, and included comprehensive travel insurance puts your clients at ease with a well-covered policy if changes are necessary.
In regards to Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport, the Bali Government Tourism Office released an official statement on 3rd July, 2018, stating “Volcanic ash has not been detected above the airspace of the southern side of the island therefore it does not impact the Bali International airport and is still operating as normal.”
The official statement concludes that South Bali, including Nusa Dua where Club Med Bali is located, is in no direct threat from the Volcano eruption.
